An installation discribing the history of this spot. From a far we only see the thick top line, this part of the netherlands lies 6 meter under sealevel.

Seven celtic vilages were found here where the people lived in polehouses and later on their terps (manmade hills). The one after the other people came and they had their fights. In the 1930 the land was made dry by hand but at the end of the secound world war the dikes were put through and all was water again. Now after being re-dried, this is one of most important agricultural zone of the Netherlands
