Evening cape and evening grale out of the installation the Silent Heaven.
Four enormous kingcapes are hanging from rendeerhorn candeliers, together they form a tipi like structure. On the inside a panorama of the Kingsfjord on Spitsbergenhas been painted under a line in the sky. This line is the walk the sun makes on the 29th of april when the sun stays for the first time 24 hours above the horizon. This moment significated that i had furfilled my journey. I had outlived seven winters after each other. Nue Alesund, Spitsbergen.

An installation discribing the history of this spot. From a far we only see the thick top line, this part of the netherlands lies 6 meter under sealevel.

Seven celtic vilages were found here where the people lived in polehouses and later on their terps (manmade hills). The one after the other people came and they had their fights. In the 1930 the land was made dry by hand but at the end of the secound world war the dikes were put through and all was water again. Now after being re-dried, this is one of most important agricultural zone of the Netherlands

An installation of centre room around which seven side rooms all bathing in blue light.
In the centre room a tower of waxed glass, 6.50 meters high, suround by six huge, very thick and reliefed paintings (9m high) of whales.
On the floor waves of broken glass in which the visitor hears his own footsteps echooing in the enormous space.
In the side rooms are lagre ground paintings, like energetic swirls.

Behind the door is a small dark room in which wind, sound and from two sides projected, knights on horses, armed with swords, which come running towards you.
About the victory of the Dutch on the Spaniaards ending a 80 years lasting war.



The Menue Relative is an installation about our contemplating look on protecting seamamals one one side while eating calfsmeat in fancy restaurants.

Inspired on a shipwreck in front of the coast which caused a lot of other shipwrecks and therefore wealth for the inhabitants of the fishing village
Egmondiaan Seas.
A performance journey for five people on the beach, in the dunes and a forrest in Egmond. Here a iron chambre, which functions as an antichambre, to make the passage from normal present day time into mytical times. Then entering the space in between the seas, 50 meter of painting and on the other side the real sea. Suddenly a fire lids, symbolizing the sun which dries the land, the painting is opened in the middle by the flammes after which thre appears a coridor through which men is led over the dunes. On the other side the funeral train of time is waiting to take the passenger on a journey through the mytical history of Egmond.
